If you are using the play and charge kit to connect the controller to your pc, you should know that the controller is wireless no matter what. which means that wire is doing nothing but charging your controller and it's not actually feeding input to the system.. Locate the save folder for burnout paradise (i can't remember the exact path, it's in the readme file in the main burnout directory,) and in that save folder there is a file called "defaults" and it lists a ton of controllers that are compatible..
